Members of the Gardening Group assembled on Wednesday 07 December 2022 at the home of one of their members for an informal Christmas Party.

There was a variety of dishes with all sorts of tasty options for a starter, a selection of homemade dishes for the main course including some that were spicy and some that were not, and a wide selection of desserts several of which included ingredients grown by members of the group.

The gardening topics had a hard time finding space alongside the amazing lunch, but on the gardening menu were attempts to over-winter pelargoniums, and an experiment for seeing if chilli peppers can survive over-winter and still provide useful fruits the following year.

This was a really enjoyable event, with excellent hospitality and a wide range of gardening topics and ideas discussed.
